Over the years, I come across many wonderful beaders and they never failed to amaze me. In fact many of them had books published and I bought every single 1 of it.

Here I would like to share a few tutorials which I bought online from these wonderful beaders. Hope u guys like it as much as I do ♡

Food Wishes

Cooking, baking is 1 of my many hobbies and there's a particular food blog which I love alot~~ www.foodwishes.com. Unlike beading and sewing, I dont really cook alot at home because the kitchen is dominated by my mum all the time. Furthermore I have little time at home and I want everything to be super fast and tasty. Food Wishes showcases a range of  recipes from chicken, pasta, pork, lamb, turkey, cookies, cakes and lots more.... The most importantly the receipes are tasty, it is also super easy!!!

I tried a couple of their recipes, for example this creamy tomato tuna penne pasta recipe is super easy and it's so tasty and my family loves it:-

Do not worry about the ingredients, I know alot of us will think that it's not easy to find all the exact ingredients listed as this is an American food blog and blah blah blah.... But fear not, you are not cooking for the Prime Minister or participating any Masterchef reality show, so just replace the ingredients which you can't find, for example you will come across Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, if you can't find it just get Parmesan or Sharp Cheddar! No worries, just keep tasting while you are cooking ^^

I'm so tempted to try this recent post of Chicken Parmesan Casserole and after watching the video, it seems simple but not sure about the taste, maybe it's because there's too much cheese in it, but who knows maybe the tomato paste will compliment the cheese, never try never know..... Maybe I'll give it a try next week! Check out the video and I listed out the ingredients as well:-

Ingredients:

• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 2 cloves garlic, crushed, optional
• hot red pepper flakes, to taste
• 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
• 2 1/2 cups marinara sauce (more sauce is fine)
• 1/4 cup chopped basil, if available
• 8 oz mozzarella, shredded, divided
• 3 oz Parmigiano-Reggiano, grated fine, about 3/4 cup, divided; by the way, the same amount of fake Parmesan will not taste the same, and the amount may need to be adjusted…go buy some real Parmigiano-Reggiano!
• 1 (5-oz) package garlic croutons

My Favourite Celebs ~ Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow. I'm not her fan and I don't really like her because she appears to me as this lame blonde comedy actress (like Jennifer Aniston, Katherine Heigl type).... Yes, I never like Pepper Potts either (though she got very nice sense of fashion)! But then I started to like her when she acted in Glee as Holly Holiday (Mr Shue's love interest in Season 2)....To my surprise, she can really sing and dance, all at the same time!!! I love her version of "Forget You" and a mash-up of "Singin' In the Rain" and Rihanna's "Umbrella"!

I know she's married to Cold Play lead vocalist, Chris Martin and she's mother of her 2 children, Apple and Moses. I seen her in some food expedition with her buddy, Mario Batali showcasing the food and culture of Spain and she really is passionate when it comes to food!

But I didnt know that she has her own cookbook published until recently I came across a Taiwan online bookstore promoting Gwyneth's cookbook,  My Father's Daughter: Delicious, Easy Recipes Celebrating Family & Togetherness. Though the site is selling the translated version but they actually build up a small division to showcase her book. I never thought she could be an author and the best part is she can really cook! Her cookbook includes delicious, healthy recipes and importantly her life as daughter, mother and wife, sharing her thoughts on the importance of family and togetherness. You can have a glimpse of her cookbook at Amazon or even search her cooking demo at youtube. 

Undeniable Gwyneth Paltrow role as an successful actress, mother and wife represent women in modern society. Yeah, we women definitely rule the world!!!

The Legendary Hayao Miyazaki aka 宮崎 駿

I came across Ponyo cute box set at Artist Gallery the other day while shopping for my Adele's 21 album and was looking forward to get The Secret World Of Arriety but it was sold out. The title of this anime may seem familiar to you guys as it's one of the productions of the world famous legendary animator, Hayao Miyazaki aka 宮崎 駿.


Hayao Miyazaki aka 宮崎 駿 is a  prominent film director and animator of many popular anime feature films. Along with Isao Takata, they co-founded Studio Ghibli, an animation studio and production company who produced many famous anime films, such as Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Ponyo, Princes Mononoke, The Secret World Of Arriety. Miyazaki was listed as 1 of world's most influential people by Times magazine.


Miyazaki's films often incorporate recurrent themes like humanity's relationship with nature and technology, and the difficulty of maintaining a pacifist ethic. Reflecting Miyazaki's feminism, the protagonists of his films are often strong, independent girls or young women. While two of his films, The Castle of Cagliostro and Castle in the Sky, involve traditional villains, his other films like Nausicaä and Princess Mononoke present morally ambiguous antagonists with redeeming qualities.

Fairy Tales~ Alice In The Wonderland

My whole life is surrounded by books, loads and loads of books. My childhood was filled with fairy tales story books rather than toys (gee, what a nerd!). Hans Christian Anderson, Lewis Carroll and Grimms fairy tales are my all time favourites. It’s not just the story I love, the illustrations are wonderful!

Among all the fairy tales, I love Alice In The Wonderland the most! If you search online there are tones of Alice illustrations available, you will come across gothic Alice, vintage Alice (love it!), Manga Alice and so much more….. I’m going to showcase a few versions of Alice In The Wonderland illustrations I like and please note that I do not own these pictures and the owner of the photos are stated below.
